More about the September Workshop: Personal Essay Writing
Personal essays allow writers to speak and be heard. Essays can be written in many different and creative ways that allow the writer to convey their experience, emotion and reflection so that readers form a connection with and learn from the author.
This workshop will cover the history of the personal essay and look at essays written by others. We will also work through several prompts to spark our writing to be expanded on after the workshop.
All are welcome to this trans-centered space.
