In our 14th year of ungovernable queer art-making during Pride week, we are responding to urgency with care and adaptability. This year, we are in sustained conversation with crisis.
What happens when an emergency doesn’t conveniently end? How do we adapt to continue to respond effectively? How do we grow ourselves during continuous emergency? We are not the cause of emergency. Our liberation is the necessity for the emergency.
(The first) Pride was an emergency.
This is an EMERGEncy.
