On the eve of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, a reading of Ike Holter's 2012 play, Hit the Wall. A bold group of actors present the Minneapolis premiere of a play inspired by the brave queer ancestors and the historic events of June 28th, 1969.

The Chicago Tribune called it "gutsy, beautiful and riveting -- dealing with a pivotal night of gay history, a moment when a small personal rebellion cascaded beyond the bounds of that bar and became a crucial symbol of resistance."

Who is the amazing Ike Holter? Ike Holter is a Minneapolis native, a graduate of South High School and DePaul University. In 2017, he won the prestigious Windhall-Campell Literature Prize for drama. He's now a staff writer on FX's Fosse/Verdon and the resident playwright at Chicago's Victory Garden Theatre.

Who's making this happen? The cast features the incredible talents of Commarrah Bashar, Denzel Belin, Heather Bunch, Damien Franklin, Shannon McCarville, Ricky Morisseau, Shae Palic, Cameron Reeves, Nora Ricky, Michael Tarrell Brown, and Adan Varela.
